CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Let’s talk about career development. What makes one special, skills or knowledge. What sets one apart. What they know or what they can do. I know it’s both but most times, one comes first. I know knowledge comes first because if you do not have the knowledge of something then, you cannot perform that activity.

But then it begs the question, in our careers, do we chase the knowledge or do we chase the skills. Most times we choose skills more than knowledge and this makes us feel stuck especially when we don’t know what to do anymore.

For today’s series, I want to say that both can be attained, and it is essential to attain both by choosing to get the knowledge first because with the knowledge then the skill is enhanced.

I won’t say much today but I hope you get the gist.
